27 feb 2008 The hype around the song 'Not too big' and its video is getting bigger and bigger!
On the dutch website ikoptv.nl, you can see an interview with Alan about his work and the song Not too big, that was broadcasted by all regional Dutch TV-stations. Whatch it here.

In may, Alan will be perfoming 3 songs Live at the METREX conferention in Amsterdam. This is a conferention about metropolitan regions, so a great place to perform 'Dutch cities','Not too big' and the new song 'London or Berlin' More details to follow.

We ran out of copies of the single 'Dutch cities', where 'Not too big' is on. Extra copies will be made!

15 jan 2008 Last weekend I was in London! That visit wil surely lead to nice new collaborations, so keep checking here!
Next weekend, saturday the 19th, in Ekko in Utrecht there's 'Utrecht draait door', it's a small festival where videoclips of bands will be showed, and one of them wil be Alan Lauris with Not too big! So when you want to view it on a big screen with great sound instead of youtubequality, come to Ekko this saturday!

10 jan 2008 On the first day of this year I wrote that the track I produced for Isaac Angel is going to be released worldwide. Well, it's now online, so have a look and take a (automatic) listen on his website!

12 sep 2007 At last, the LIVE-videos form the june 22nd show are online!!! For everyone to see and hear HERE. This also means the premiere of THREE NEW SONGS: Twelve, London or Berlin and Time out. Although performed live in the show, these songs are still in a demo-stage and will be on the next album. Hope you like them! Thanx to Hans Meijer for the recording and montage.

09 july 2007 HEROES!!!
I'm very happy that in two weeks time I was able to meet two of my biggest sources of inspiration. First, Henk Hofstede, singer of the best band of the Netherlands, the NITS. He was at my show on june 22nd. And yesterday, I visited a concert of Eddy Chistiani, 89 years old and still going strong; the first person in Europe with an electric guitar (in 1938!). He made over 500 great songs, and lots of them are real classics in Dutch music history. You can see a small impression here (then you know where the inspiration of 'No matching socks' came from!). And I'm very proud of these pics of course:

1 jan 2007 I wish for everyone reading this a peaceful and inspirational 2007!

2006 brought some great things for me, to name a few:
- the release of my first solo-album 'Connect me'
- producing the track 'You know alright' by Isaac Angel (to be on 2007 album)
- providing leadvocals for Neiwon's 'The devil in you'
- release of single Dutch cities (with promo campaign yet to come in 2007!)

2007 will bring more:
- a very special collaboration that has something to do with an old Edith Piaf-song
- march/april: a new live show together with the Amsterdam based group MIST
- work on new songs for a new 2008 release!
- ...and who knows what more comes around!!

10 nov 2006 Last wednesday there was a small Alan Lauris live-concert in theater Borra in Amersfoort. Again an unplugged concert, with the first ever live performance of 'Questions in the air',new plugged concerts in 2007 are being prepared!

4 oct 2006 As a teaser for the download-album Connect Me - Extras there's now a FREE DOWNLOAD of the extended mix of 'Downloaded' in the musicsection! Download it, sit down and relax, because it's 8 (eight!) minutes and 9 seconds long (and beware, it's over 11 MB).

29 sep 2006 A brand new mix of the song 'Connect Me' is now available via the musicsection! The mix is called 'Drums 'n chords' mix, and sounds totally different! It will appear on the new Connect Me - Extras downloadalbum by the end of this year. Amongst other tracks on that album are a liveversion of 'We won't be told' and the (very) extended version of 'Downloaded'.
